流行電音，即流行電子音樂（英语：Synth-pop），是電子音樂與流行音樂的結合，其製作以電子合成器、電腦音樂製作軟件等作主導。流行電音最早出現於1970年代末的新浪潮運動中，其歷經40年至今仍在不斷發展。

概述


雖然現代流行音樂在創作與製作過程中已廣泛使用電子器材和軟件，但流行電音與其他音樂類型在製作上有風格上的差異，但音樂結構上則與其他類型沒大分別。
