Shondrae Crawford (born February 24, 1978), better known by his stage names Bangladesh and Mr. Bangladesh, is an American record producer and rapper, who was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, and now lives in Atlanta, Georgia.[1]
Early life and career
Crawford began producing beats in 1998,[2] but his first big break did not come until 2000 with his production of the hit single, "What's Your Fantasy" for Ludacris, with whom he then worked many times afterward.[3]
In respect to his name, he said his keyboard-centric production style is "just Bangladesh. It's foreign to the ears."[4]
