历史
猜也奔府原高棉族統治。有一位寮國官員乃叻先生辭官後來此，其部屬亦隨他而來，後來他投靠暹羅，被暹羅君主拉瑪三世封為第一任府尹。

名勝古蹟
- 拍雅拍尼春蓬(乃叻)紀念碑(Phraya Lae Monument)：位於猜也奔直轄縣署前，紀念第一任受暹羅管轄的府尹。
- 拍也叻神廟：位於猜也奔直轄縣，內有乃叻的銅像，當年寮國軍隊以叛國罪在此處決乃叻，現時泰國人每年6月均在此舉行七日七夜的祭奠活動。
