Engelb Stalin Vielma (born June 22, 1994) is a Venezuelan professional baseball infielder in the Baltimore Orioles organization. He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles.
Career
Vielma signed with the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent in September 2011.[1] The Twins added him to their 40-man roster after the 2016 season.[2] Between two minor league teams in 2017, he batted .229/.273/.280.[3]
Vielma was claimed off waivers by the San Francisco Giants on September 14, 2017,[4] He was then claimed off waivers by the Philadelphia Phillies on November 20. On December 11, Vielma was claimed off waivers by the Pittsburgh Pirates.[5] He was designated for assignment on January 14, 2018.[6]
On January 18, Vielma was traded to the San Francisco Giants[7] On January 26 he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles.[8] He was designated for assignment on November 21, 2018.
