English: The Good Service Medal, Silver ribbon of the South African Defence Force, 32 millimetres wide and white with two dark green bands in the centre, each 6 millimetres wide and spaced 6 millimetres apart.


Afrikaans: Militêre medaljelint van die Suid-Afrikaanse Weermag: Medalje vir Troue Diens: Silwer (1975-2003), vir twintig jaar troue diens. Tot 1993 is die medalje aan alle SAW-lede toegeken, maar daarna is dit tot Staandemaglede beperk en is hierdie lint ingestel. Dieselfde ontwerp as die goue medalje, maar in silwer. Die lint is wit met twee donkergroen bane.
