艾德格·霍华德·萊特（英语：Edgar Howard Wright，1974年4月18日－）是一名英國男導演、編劇、製片人與演員。他較出名的導演作品是以《活人甡吃》、《終棘警探》和《醉後末日》合稱的「血腥冰淇淋三部曲」。合作伙伴有賽門·佩吉、妮拉·派克和尼克·佛洛斯特。萊特還和他們於電視劇《屋事生非》中合作。
萊特還於2010年的電影《歪小子史考特》擔任編劇、製片和導演。他與朋友喬·科尼斯、史蒂芬·莫法特一同在史蒂芬·史匹柏的《丁丁歷險記》中撰寫劇本。萊特原本將執導漫威漫畫的改編電影《蟻人》，後來因基於創作理念不合，他宣布自己退出執導工作[1]。

生平
赖特生于英格兰普尔，不过却成长于韋爾斯。1980年代晚期至90年代早期，他导演过许多短片，起初使用家人送与的礼物——Super-8，后来用Video-8录像机并赢得电视节目 Going Live 的奖项。这些作品大都是流行的喜剧类型片，比如 Carbolic Soap 和 Dirty Harry。
1992-1994年，赖特在伯恩茅斯与普尔艺术学院学习，并获得视听设计专业学位[2]。1994年编剧、导演了第一部电影长片 A Fistful of Fingers。
