在航空界，直飞航班（英语：direct flight）是指某个航空公司使用同一班号执行两地之间全段航程的航班，根据技术、经济两方面的需要，中途可能会经停第三地。[1]在经停站停留时，航班可能被允许搭载从当地出发的旅客，或不进行上下客，仅进行技术经停（补充燃油等）。航權决定了航班在经停站能够从事的业务类型。
两个机场间的不经停航班必然是直飞航班，但是直飞航班可能是不经停航班，也可能包含经停站。包含经停的直飞航班会在中途某地降落，可能会上下乘客、装卸货物或补充燃油。不经停航班则不包含任何形式的经停，中转联程则是不同直飞航班（分别具有各自不同的航班）之间的换乘。[2]例如，成都——加德满都的中国国际航空437/438号班机为不经停的直飞航班，作为对比，成都——拉萨——加德满都的中国国际航空407/408号班机则为包含经停的直飞航班（但是两段各自分别仍为不经停航班）。就像上面的例子，国际直飞航线可能包含国内航段，这类航班的国内航段混合搭载了境内旅客和出境旅客，因此通常需要在经停站进行海关、边防检查。如果某个包含经停的直飞航班经停某航空公司的枢纽机场，并且前后航段航程、客流量差异较大，则还可能出现更换飞机型号的情况，例如曾经杭州——北京——法兰克福的中国国际航空965/966号班机在某些时候会使用空中客车A320或波音737级别的窄体客机服务国内航段，而使用波音777级别的宽体客机服务国际航段。
