天再旦

天再旦，是古代天文學家記錄的一種罕見的天文現象，意思是同一天接連出現兩次天亮的情況。通常是由於清晨五點到七點的日全食所引起的天文奇觀[1]，第一次天亮時，天色又逐漸暗去，接著又迎接第二次天亮。最早在《诗经》裡就有天再旦的記載，《竹书纪年》記載過：“懿王元年，天再旦於郑，……”，指的是周懿王元年丑正四月丁亥朔，公元前899年4月21日发生的日食，在陝西華縣一帶可見到這個奇景。有學者認為所謂“日妖宵出”可能也是“天再旦”或“天再昏”的日食现象，可用來斷定《墨子·非攻下》記載“禹伐三苗”的正確日期。
对同一地点，“天再旦”现象出现的機率是千年一遇[2]。1997年3月9日，中国新疆北部在天亮之际發生所謂「天再旦」的日全食，由60位观测者从18个不同地点親身體驗這種現象。
