焦慮（英語：anxiety）意指由於情緒或心理上產生內在衝突，進而引發非理性的憂慮或恐懼感受。焦慮可能在特定情況下產生；也有可能是慣性或是常見與普遍的一種感受。焦慮通常與佛洛伊德對於壓抑感受與衝動所提出的論點有關；此外，亦與習得或制約反應機制的概念相關。反應機制的概念提到，某些事件或刺激如果在過去曾經造成恐怖或緊張的經驗，就會引發焦慮。[1]
焦虑有很多形式，有社交方面的情绪焦虑，自我强迫，外伤后的压力，甚至是恐惧症。焦虑给身体带来极大负影响，例如，呼吸急促，头痛，心悸，四肢无力等等。焦虑的原因主要是外界环境所给与的惊吓与自身的抗压能力不能形成一定平衡。杏仁核和海马体是参与焦虑形成的神经部位。
一種心理狀態，指人平常的情緒受某事物的負面影響，持續時間與該事物的發展時間正相關。
沒有不必要的焦慮與恐懼，是健全的心理包含的特性之一。

- 认清焦虑状况
- 克服焦虑的三个原则：不回避；正面迎战；做记录
- 学会放松自己
- 运用想象减轻焦虑
- 进行理性思考

電視使用
主条目：香港電視節目分類制度
香港廣播事務管理局（現通訊事務管理局）接獲對電視台所製作節目的投訴中，部份投訴者表示對節目內容感到「不安」[3][4]。涉及此類投訴的節目通常是電視劇和綜藝節目。
根據通訊事務管理局的規定，家長指引類節目須標示為「以下節目（部分內容）可能令人情緒不安（disturbing），敬請家長留意」。
網絡使用
香港地區的網民發現一些搞事的文章時，會對發表者表示「好不安」，然後就是「報警」（即是聲言報警）。
「好不安」的出處源於近年香港警方落案起訴網民之言論時，大部份時間都是因為有人看見該言論感覺非常不安而報警。久而久之，令人「好不安」成為出位網上言論其中一個入罪理由。「安已不」是「不安」的變種，近來亦常為港澳地區網民所採用[5]。
