山茶属（学名：Camellia），或稱茶屬，是雙子葉植物綱，山茶科的一大属。品種約有150種。主要分布中國的長江以南至雲南及越南一帶的地區，在東亞與東南亞地區也有分布。其中的茶樹產茶葉，許多种也可以做觀賞植物[1]。
