楊基（1326年－1380年？），字孟載，號眉庵，元末明初詩人、畫家，明初十才子之一。
生平
楊發之後代，楊梓之曾孫，楊樞之孫，楊元德之子。泰定三年丙寅（1326）出生。[1]原籍嘉州（今四川省乐山市境），生於吳縣（今江蘇省苏州市）。幼以《铁笛》诗为楊維楨所赏识，故有诗名。曾著《論鑑》十萬餘言。曾入張士誠幕下，種下禍根。洪武四年（1371 年），以薦為江西行省幕官，因事下御史臺獄，洪武五年，出獄，返南昌。[2]洪武六年（1373年）奉使湖南廣右，召還授兵部員外郎。洪武七年（1374 年）五月，出任山西按察副使，官至按察使。[3]後被讒奪職，謫輸作（罰服勞役），死於南京工所，卒年不詳。[4]
楊基能詩，風格清俊纖巧，其中五言律詩《岳陽樓》境界開闊，時人稱楊基為五言射雕手。與高啟、張羽、徐賁為詩友[5]，時人稱吳中四傑。工書畫，尤善繪山水竹石。著有《眉庵集》。

^ 楊基《梁園飲酒歌》說︰“我生之辰木入斗”明確提到自己的生年是“木入斗”之年，歲在星紀，當生於寅年。
^ 〈出臺獄復還洪都〉詩：“福至本無象，禍來非有因。方憂觸羅網，遽喜辭妖塵。”
^ 徐賁《答故人杨宪副孟载》有“憶在并州喜合併，別來兩見歲華更”之句，可見洪武十一年楊基仍在副使任内。或於洪武十二年進升為按察使。
^ 《靜菴集》中有張羽〈挽楊基〉詩一首，詩云：“恨不尋君未死前，須臾離別便千年。慰人幸有童烏在，他日應能續太玄”，張羽卒於洪武十八年，楊基卒年必在此之前。白凡《楊基世家考》推測楊基卒年在洪武十三年（1380年），其子約十歲左右。
^ 明·杨循吉，《吴邑志》（卷十·人物传四）：杨基，孟载，邑西赤山人。有诗才，造语新丽，与长洲高启齐名。国初，官至山西 按察使。有《眉庵集》行。
